It started with dry hair and a cold climate.
When our founder, Opeyemi, moved to the UK, something changed. Her hair — and her young daughter's — simply couldn't cope with the cold, dry British weather. So she decided to make her own. For over a year, Opeyemi researched, tested and refined her formulas with real women with textured, curly and coily hair. The result is Butter, Oils & Herbs: a natural hair care brand built on lived experience, rooted in simplicity, and made with genuine care.

Apply a small amount of our Herbal Hair Oil directly to your scalp using the nozzle or your fingertips. Gently massage in circular motions to distribute the oil evenly and nourish your scalp. Work a little through your hair lengths and ends if desired, helping to soften strands, add natural-looking shine and care for dry hair. Use as part of your daily haircare ritual or before wash day for an extra touch of botanical nourishment.
Lock in Moisture
Smooth a small amount of our Nourishing Herbal Hair Butter through damp or dry hair, concentrating on the mid-lengths and ends where moisture is needed most. Gently work it through with your fingers to help soften strands, seal in moisture and enhance your hair’s natural texture. Start with a little and add more as needed for beautifully nourished, manageable hair with a soft, healthy-looking finish.
